FancyFax A fax cover sheet ... you use it once, and then throw it away. But the cover sheet is the first thing your fax correspondent sees, so even though you only use it once, it really has to look good. FancyFax prints fancy fax cover sheets. They can have the usual To, From, memo message, date, and number of pages. But in addition, FancyFax cover sheets can also include any bitmap picture. FancyFax comes with its own set of pictures, or you can use any other Windows bitmap. Use a distinctive corporate logo, or any other bitmap picture. FancyFax is convenient. You can save the To and From information to a built-in database, so it's available next time. With FancyFax, you can quickly create customized cover sheets for your frequent fax correspondents with no re-typing. And FancyFax is flexible. You can arrange the page any way you want. Pick any fonts you choose for the heading, the To and From information, and for the cover sheet memo. Use your company name for the heading, or your own name, or set the heading to "Fax Cover Sheet." Put the picture just below the heading, or at the bottom of the cover sheet. Or print a sheet with no picture at all. If you have a FaxModem installed, you can also use FancyFax to FAX a quick one-page message. Instead of clicking the Print button, just click the Fax button instead. Your FancyFax cover sheet will be sent as a one-page fax. It's a handy way to send an "instant" message. FancyFax makes life just a little easier, and just a little more pleasant. How To Install FancyFax You can install FancyFax automatically, using the enclosed auto-installer. To do this, simply run install.exe from within Windows. You can run it using File Manager, or the Run item on Program Manager's File menu, or in whatever other convenient way you choose. Give it the directory to put the FancyFax files into, and the Program Manager group name for the FancyFax icons (appropriate defaults are suggested). It'll do the rest. The installer will make no changes to your system set-up or to any systemwide files. It copies the FancyFax files to the one directory you specify, and puts its icons in the one Program Manager group you choose. UnInstalling FancyFax If you decide to un-install FancyFax, simply delete that Program Manager group, and that directory, which you selected when you first installed FancyFax.
